Sharukh Khan, the name says it all! The king of Bollywood seems missing these days, you know why? It’s because he’s busy with his upcoming movie Ra. One which also stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead. Ra.One will be an science-fiction superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha and is been produced under Sharukh Khan’s home production company Red Chillies Entertainment and which is all set to hit multiplexes near you by this Diwali 26th October 2011.SRK’s Ra.One also stars Shahana Goswami, Dilip Tahil and Chinese-American actor Tom Wu in supporting roles.
Ra.One release was delayed due to general post-production work which involved special effects and the movie’s conversion to 3D. But now Ra.One is all set to release giving SRK fans a Diwali damaka. You can watch your super hero, Sharukh Khan in Ra.One both 2D and 3Dformats.
What is Ra.One? What does it stand for? Are these questions haunting you? Here’s the answer, Sharukh Khan explained in his recent interview about the film’s title Ra.One which stands for “Random Access: Version One” also the mythological character of Ravana. Robert Kurtzman, special effect creator has designed the suits for SRK and Rampal’s characters. It happened that, on July 2011, Sharukh Khan announced that the movie would be releasing in both 3D and 2D formats, which makes Ra.One the second Bollywood movie to come with 3D effect after Haunted – 3D (2011).

One more interesting fact I want tell you guys is that, Sharukh Khan on a Friday chat show called, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross stated that Jackie Chan was initially approached for a role in the movie. Khan admitted that he had reportedly sent Jackie Chan the detailed script of Ra.One, along with the action sequences involved in the movie and a brief synopsis of his character. But later, it was confirmed that Jackie Chan would not be part of the movie due to personal reasons.
Sharukh Khan’s Ra.One is creating history all way till now, to remind you that, the budget of the movie is INR 1 billion, making it the second most pricey film in the history of Bollywood in India only after Blue, and Ra.One has equalled the record of My Name Is Khan, in its buy over for the same price.
